SCARF Organization Inc is a nonprofit based in Kissimmee, Florida, dedicated to supporting at-risk youth and families through mentorship, education, and community partnership. Funded by the Department of Children and Families, we collaborate with schools, agencies, and caring adults to reach young people in need and offer them a clear path to hope and healing.

Mentorship changes lives. Our Anchored Mentoring Program connects young men ages 11–19 with trained, committed adults who provide guidance, encouragement, and structure. Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

We offer trauma-informed mentorship, academic support, life skills coaching, and community resource navigation for at-risk youth in Central Florida, particularly through our Anchored Mentoring Program.

Our services primarily support male youth ages 11–19 in Polk, Osceola, and Orange Counties who are at risk of academic failure, juvenile involvement, or other life challenges. We also welcome community partners, volunteers, and mentors.

You can fill out the Mentee Application online or contact us directly for assistance. Our team will follow up to ensure eligibility and find the right mentor match.

Yes/No. SCARF Organization Inc Anchored Mentoring Program is Sponsored by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) and is free to all mentors and mentees. Other programs offered by our sister organization Serving Children and Reaching Families may be paid for by your insurance company.

SCARF Organization Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to mentorship and community outreach initiatives that empower individuals and families. We proudly partner with Serving Children and Reaching Families, LLC (SCARF)—a separate, for-profit provider of mental health services—to extend comprehensive support across the state of Florida.
